Work has just started to remove vegetation and carry out masonry repairs on the Castlefield Viaduct, specifically Arches COL 130 to 106 (see Viaduct Treatment). Vegetation will be sprayed and left for two weeks prior to being removed while masonry repairs are likely to last one week per arch.
