You hopefully know by now that a Gold Award-winning show garden, from the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park, has kindly been given to Castlefield. To be located in St John’s Gardens on Lower Byrom Street, and to be ready in just a matter of weeks, ground work to prepare the gardens is already taking shape.
This is where we would like to request some help.
It’s very short notice, but we are looking for some volunteers to help plant the new trees, hedges and flowers. Gary Ellis from Cityco is co-ordinating the project and has asked if anyone would like to help out next week, from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th? Anyone who can spare some time would be most welcome and they’ll be starting around 11am each day. Any help at all would be fantastic.
Gary appreciates that many of us work during the day, but hoped we might be able to rustle up some help.
Do please contact Gary directly if you’d like to help out – he is on the following address: email@example.com
Thank you for reading and we hope you all enjoy making use of the new gardens when ready.
