Manchester Homelessness Charter.

The Forum have made the following pledge to the Manchester Homelessness Charter:

We, the Castlefield Forum pledge to promote and champion the work carried out by the many organisations who are involved with the Homelessness Charter. We will select a different group every month and, by using our extensive online and social media reach, invite our members and the wider Castlefield community to learn more about what they do and how we as residents and businesses can help.

We are delighted to announce that our first monthly organisation is: Coffee 4 Craig (

This is a little about who they are:

When one of the founders’ brother Craig passed away on the streets due to mental health and substance addictions Risha knew it was time to do something…

Coffee4Craig was created as a result and we are all proud to say;

There is now more awareness around homelessness and a dedicated team of regular volunteers who feed hundreds every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday by Manchester Cathedral without fail, week in week out come rain or shine… C4C volunteers are there.

We also work with exsisting partner organisations to provide the best service, housing options and support packages. One person at a time…

We will be promoting Coffee 4 Craig during March and invite you all to find out about the work that they do. If you would like to make a donation to Coffee 4 Craig, they have told us that they currently have a real need for the following items:

  • Socks
  • Boxers small and medium
  • Toiletries
  • Snack food
  • Biscuits
  • Coffee
  • Hot Chocolate

Barca have very kindly agreed to provide a central collection point where items can be left – we will then arrange for any donations to be collected. Please drop off any donations with the bar staff.
