Tatton comes to Castlefield

Castlefield is going to have its first orchard thanks to a new Manchester Garden City scheme aimed at making the city greener.

Called ‘A Stitch in Time Saves Nine’, the orchard is on show at this year’s Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show at Tatton Park until tomorrow 24 July and is designed by gold-award winning RHS national young designer of the year, Daniela Coray. When the Flower Show finishes the orchard’s going to be given a permanent home in St John’s Gardens, Castlefield.
